Melrose Rugby Football Club
New Sponsorship and Support Agreements

The Club is delighted to announce a number of new sponsorship and support agreements:-

Wight Chiropractic Clinic will sponsor our 'Community Coach', Ross Miller for the season 2002/2003. This is in conjunction with the Scottish Rugby Union 'Coaching/Teaching Initiative' which provides the opportunity for rugby clubs to offer a youth the chance to obtain a Scottish Vocational Qualification in "Coaching, Teaching and Instructing Children - Rugby Union". This is a major new initiative and forms an integral part of The Melrose Rugby Academy. We are delighted to welcome Graeme Wight and his team on board as partners in this innovative venture.

Ormistion and Renwick (Garden Centre and Florist) are funding playing/coaching equipment for The Melrose Rugby Academy. The Club is delighted to have one of Melrose's oldest established businesses assisting with equipment which will be used in all local primary schools and our mini/midi sections at the club.

Marmions Brasserie are our ball boys sponsor for the season 2002/2003. This allows the Club to purchase track suits and rain jackets for the youngsters, who are chosen from the Mini Hornets section within the Club.
